Brixz Cannabinoid Guide

Brixz labels are full of letters: THCA, D9P, HHCP, CBG. This guide explains what each one means in plain English, which Brix Carts products contain them, and how to choose sensibly. It is general information, not medical advice.

The Cannabinoids at a Glance

CannabinoidWhat it isWhy it mattersFound in
THCATetrahydrocannabinolic acid, the raw acid form of THC in hemp and cannabis.Converts to Δ9-THC when heated (smoked, vaped or baked).Flower, pre-rolls, dabs
Δ9-THC (D9P)Delta-9 THC derived from hemp, kept at or below 0.3% by dry weight. The best-known cannabinoid; “D9P” is how Brixz labels its hemp-derived Δ9 lines.Flower, pre-rolls, disposables, edibles
HHC / HHCPHexahydrocannabinol and a related compound, produced from hemp.Often described by users as a smoother, lighter alternative; research is limited.High Rise HHCP | HHC disposable
CBD / CBGNon-intoxicating cannabinoids found in hemp.Commonly paired with other cannabinoids in edibles.Brixz Pharm edibles

THCA

THCA is the form THC takes in the living and freshly harvested plant. On its own it is not intoxicating, but heat converts it into Δ9-THC, a process called decarboxylation. That is why THCA flower, pre-rolls and dabs behave very differently from raw hemp once they are lit or vaped. Hemp rules measure Δ9-THC, so a THCA product can be hemp-compliant on paper while producing THC when used.

Δ9-THC from Hemp (D9P)

“D9P” on Brixz packaging refers to hemp-derived Δ9-THC. By federal definition, hemp products must contain no more than 0.3% Δ9-THC by dry weight. You will see D9P on the High Rise D9P | THCA disposable, the 3-pack pre-rolls and the THCA/D9P flower line.

HHC and HHCP

HHC is made by processing hemp-derived cannabinoids. HHCP is a related compound. Users often describe HHC as smooth and a little lighter than Δ9, but research is still limited and effects vary widely. You will find this blend in the High Rise HHCP | HHC disposable. Several states restrict HHC, so check your local rules.

CBD and CBG

CBD and CBG are non-intoxicating cannabinoids. In Brixz Pharm edibles they appear alongside Δ9, as listed on each flavor’s COA.

How to Choose

  • New to hemp products? Start low and go slow: one short draw, one small piece, then wait.
  • Prefer vaping? Compare the two High Rise blends on our Brix disposable page.
  • Prefer flower? Try a 1g single before committing to a jar.
  • Check the COA on our Lab Results page before you buy.

Safety and the Law

Do not drive after using intoxicating hemp products. Avoid use if pregnant or nursing, and talk to a doctor if you take medication. All of these cannabinoids can cause a positive drug test. State laws vary and change often; see our Disclaimer and Shipping Policy for details. For more reading, visit the Brix Guides blog.
